Education Requirements to Become a Bail Bondsman
- Take 16 hours of pre-license education that is provided by the Oklahoma Bondsman Association (classes cover things like bail law, duties, and responsibilities)
- Take 8 hours of continuing education courses that are produced by the Oklahoma Bondsman Association

Bail Bondsman Examination
- Fee of $100 to take the exam
- Have to pass with a 70% accuracy score
- Can retake after 30 days but if it is failed 3 times - you will have to wait a year between exams
Qualifications and Experience for a Bail Bondsman
- Have to be 21 years old
- Be a citizen of the United States
- One year of residency in the state
- High school diploma or an equivalent
- Have good character and a good reputation
- No criminal record or cannot be convicted of a felony
